Stainless steel floating ball is a precision device which takes stainless steel as the core material and uses buoyancy principle to realize liquid level monitoring, flow control or safety protection. Its structure is usually composed of stainless steel ball (main body), connecting fittings (such as connecting rod, flange, threaded interface) and auxiliary trigger components (such as magnetic control switch and mechanical valve). It can be designed as a hollow floating ball or a floating ball with counterweight according to the requirements of different scenes, which is suitable for various media such as water, oil, acid and alkali solutions.

Product Operate Guide

Preparation before installation
Confirm the liquid level range of the equipment and determine the installation position of the floating ball (generally, it is necessary to ensure that the floating ball can rise and fall freely within the liquid level change range).
Check the adaptability:
select the corresponding stainless steel model (for example, 316 stainless steel is preferred in strong corrosive environment) according to the characteristics of the medium (temperature and corrosiveness), and confirm that the connection size of the floating ball matches the equipment interface.
Installation and fixation
If it is a connecting rod floating ball,
connect one end of the connecting rod with the floating ball, and fix the other end on the inner wall of the equipment through a bracket to ensure that the floating ball is not stuck when suspended in the medium, and the moving range of the connecting rod covers the target liquid level interval. 
In case of flange/threaded floating ball:
directly connect the floating ball interface with the reserved interface of the equipment in a sealed way (sealing gasket is required to prevent medium leakage), so as to ensure that the center line of the floating ball is consistent with the direction of liquid level change.

Product Uses

Civil life:
Household water tank and solar water heater: the floating ball is linked with the valve. When the water level reaches the set height, the floating ball drives the valve to close and stop the water inflow; When the water level drops, the valve is reopened to replenish water to avoid water overflow or dry burning.
Toilet water tank: the float ball controls the water inlet valve. When the water level in the water tank is low, the water inlet valve will be closed after the water level reaches the preset position, so as to ensure that the water tank can be automatically filled with appropriate water after flushing.
Industrial production:
All kinds of liquid storage tanks: the floating ball level gauge can monitor the liquid level in the tank in real time and transmit it to the control system through mechanical or electronic signals, and give an alarm when the liquid level is too high or too low to ensure production safety.
Sewage treatment: In the sedimentation tank, regulating tank and other facilities, the floating ball is used to monitor the liquid level and control the start and stop of the drainage pump to ensure the stable operation of the sewage treatment process.
